Esteban joined MPC's calibration lab in 2019. His exposure to nuclear medicine at MPC sparked his interest in the field of medical physics, and he is currently in training to become a diagnostic physicist.
Esteban graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2021 with a bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics and worked as a physics TA for a short time. He is currently a graduate student in Georgia Tech's Medical Physics program. Once he obtains his master's degree, Esteban is looking forward to gaining more experience in the field of diagnostic imaging and becoming a board certified physicist. He is also interested in helping develop new tools for use in physics testing.
When he is not training in the field or reading textbooks, he enjoys running, repairing vehicles of any kind, and writing fiction.
