Patrick has worked for Medical Physics Consultants, Inc. since 2001, specializing in Nuclear Medicine, PET, and radiation safety. He received his B.S. Degree from Purdue University, a Masters degree from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from Purdue University.
He is certified by the American Board of Health Physics, the American Board of Radiology (Medical Nuclear Physics), and the American Board of Science in Nuclear Medicine (Physics and Instrumentation). He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, and the Health Physics Society. He has taken an active role in professional societies, including serving on various committees for the American Board of Radiology and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. He is a reviewer for the American College of Radiology accreditation programs in Nuclear Medicine and PET and has served as an oral examiner for the American Board of Radiology Nuclear Medical Physics exam.
In addition to his normal consulting obligations, he serves as the Radiation Safety Officer for several facilities and has a faculty appointment at the IU School of Medicine where he teaches in the nuclear medicine technology program.
