Ann Jones is the Vice President for Western Operations and has been a Diagnostic Radiological Physicist at MPC since 1993. Her expertise includes Mammography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound and all areas of X-ray Imaging in Radiology and Cardiology.
Ann earned her B.S. in Biology at St. Bonaventure University in Western New York and her M.S. in Medical Physics at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. She is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiological Physics and is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine. Ann’s medical physics practice includes TJC, ACR and IAC accreditation services. She has served as an RSO at multiple licensees and she serves on CT protocol and CT dose optimization committees.
Ann founded MPC’s Salt Lake office when she moved with her family to Utah in 1997. She has enjoyed building the professional relationships that have allowed “MPC West” to grow into a group of four experienced medical physicists. Together she and her team strive to provide top-notch services throughout the West. Ann continually stays abreast of all technological advances in diagnostic imaging. She is committed to developing effective on-line training for MPC clients. Ann is excited by the day-to-day interaction with clients and colleagues. She looks forward to maintaining valued associations and establishing new ties along the way.
