Lisa has been a member of the MPC team since 2005. She holds a B.S. in Biology and a M.S. in Health Physics both obtained at Idaho State University. She is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the Health Physics Society (HPS).
Lisa has held various committee positions at both the local and national level with the HPS including election to the Board of Directors of the HPS.
Lisa is experienced in performing nuclear medicine reviews, testing mammography, fluoroscopy (general and advanced), radiographic, ultrasound and computed tomography machines. Her expertise in diagnostic imaging testing and compliance assurance meets the Joint Commission’s diagnostic medical physicist requirements. She is MQSA approved for all mammography modalities and is qualified for ACR testing of CT, Ultrasound and mammography. Lisa is the Radiation Safety Officer on several radioactive materials licenses and actively participates in radiation safety committee meetings for many clients.
Lisa is continually involved in MPC’s efforts to provide efficient, flexible, focused physics services to our clients.
