Robert Allman, MS, DABSNM is a board certified nuclear medicine physics consultant with expertise in regulatory compliance for the NRC and Midwestern agreement states (WI, IL, and MN). He obtained a B.S. in Health Physics from Purdue University and an M.S. in Radiation Health Physics from Oregon State University and has been a full time employee of MPC since 2006. He maintains diplomate certification from the American Board of Science in Nuclear Medicine specializing in Nuclear Medicine Physics and Instrumentation.
As a consultant for nuclear medicine departments, Robert spends his time performing audits of licensees, testing nuclear medicine cameras, and testing PET scanners. Additionally, Robert is an experienced diagnostic imaging physicist in mammography, radiography, and fluoroscopy.
As a Qualified Medical Physicist for the ACR's Mammography and Nuclear Medicine and PET Accreditation Programs, Robert maintains continuing experience and education requirements for those programs. This criteria additionally meets The Joint Commission's requirements for a Nuclear Medicine Physicist.
Robert has served as the Radiation Safety Officer for a select handful of radioactive materials licensees ranging in size and scope from a Level 1 trauma center with Category 1 quantities of radioactive material to a small clinic. He is a member of The American Association of Physicists in Medicine and the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. His home office is in the state of Wisconsin where the majority of his accounts are located.
