Kelli completed 30 years of active military service with the United States Air Force prior to joining MPC in October 2014. She has extensive experience in mammography, patient and fetal dosimetry, and TJC, ACR, RadSite and IAC accreditation.
Kelli is an RSO on multiple radioactive materials licenses. She has served on RSCs at several facilities. She also has experience with radiology resident education and x-ray user’s training.
Kelli has both a PhD in Mechanical Engineering (2014) and a Master of Science in Engineering (2008) from the Nuclear and Radiation Engineering Program at The University of Texas at Austin. She has an M.S. in Radiologic Science (Radiology Administration) from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, TX (2001), a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, TX, (Summa Cum Laude) (1987), and a Certificate, School of Radiation Therapy Technology, Cancer Therapy and Research Center, UTHSC, San Antonio, TX, (1991).
Kelli is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics (2013). She is also a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (1996), a Registered Technologist, Radiation Therapy, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (1992), a Registered Technologist, Radiography (ARRT) (1987), and a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)(1987). She is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, the American College of Radiology, and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists.
Kelli’s bibliography includes CT quality control, modeling x-ray spectra, dental cone beam CT image quality assessment, and image optimization in digital dental radiology. Kelli’s current interests include patient dose optimization and patient dosimetry.
