Jim is a Senior Vice President with MPC. He joined MPC in 1982 and provides diagnostic imaging service to multiple healthcare facilities in Michigan. Jim has BS in Biology from University of Michigan (1980) and an MS in Radiological Health from University of Michigan (1982).
He is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiological Physics (1990) and a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, the American College of Radiology, the Michigan Radiological Society, and the Health Physics Society.
Jim is Past-President of Great Lakes Chapter of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and Past-President of Great Lakes Chapter of the Health Physics Society. He is a physics reviewer for American College of Radiology accreditation programs in both Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Jim is a member of the CT Accreditation Physics Subcommittee of the American College Radiology, Chair of the Radiology Physics Exam Committee American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, and past member of Physics in Radiology Curriculum Subcommittee of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine.
He is currently active in the American College of Radiology and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine to improve the education and training of Radiology residents, accreditation testing, and MRI safety.
