Melissa joined our MPC west office in 2022. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nuclear Medicine from Weber State University in 2005 and is currently working on a Master’s of Science in Radiation Health Physics at Oregon State University.
She enjoyed her career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for 18 years and gained a lot of knowledge in all areas of the field. She opened and ran a new department, which included overseeing regulatory compliance and inspections, quality control testing (including ACR), radiation protection, and training hospital staff. She is board certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as well as the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. She is also board certified as a Radiologic Technologist and a CT Technologist. Melissa will be providing physics support to nuclear medicine and radiology/fluoroscopy departments.
