Tom joined MPC in 2010 and is the model employee that every other physicist strives to imitate. He is naturally an expert in everything, but limits himself to diagnostic x-ray physics. Tom has an MS in Medical Physics and a BS in Physics from Purdue University.
He also earned an MS in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. He seldom uses this degree, but occasionally mentions it so that people know that he has not lived his entire life in the Midwest.
Tom is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology (Diagnostic Physics), but no one really cares about that. Like any other member in good standing, he pays his AAPM dues every year, usually after the fourth or fifth email reminder.
