Danielle Sargent

Danielle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Medicine from Indiana University in 2019 and completed her Master of Science in Radiation Health Physics at Oregon State University in 2022.

She began her career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist and quickly advanced into a supervisory role, overseeing the Nuclear Medicine Department at a large hospital. In this capacity, she managed the Radiation Safety Committee, maintained regulatory compliance, and served as the facility’s Radiation Safety Officer (RSO).

Her professional experience also includes leading the shutdown and relocation of the Nuclear Medicine Department to a new facility, a complex operation requiring coordination across departments and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. She is board certified through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and holds dual certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Computed Tomography (CT).
