Steve has been a diagnostic medical physicist since 2001 and has been with Medical Physics Consultants since July 2013. Steve has a B.S. in Radiation Health Physics from Oregon State University, an M.S. in Health Physics from Purdue University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Findlay.
Steve is board certified in Diagnostic Medical Physics by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the Health Physics Society, the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, and the American College of Radiology.
Steve has extensive experience performing testing in CT, MRI, mammography, ultrasound, and general x-ray for regulatory compliance. He is an expert in TJC, ACR, and IAC accreditation testing. In addition, Steve also performs nuclear medicine surveys, shielding calculations, and fetal dosimetry estimates. He has also served as a hospital Radiation Safety Office rand currently serves on several hospital Radiation Safety Committees.
